Auxillo is operated by Jaundre van Staden, trading as Auxillo, an individual trader (Empresário em Nome Individual), NIF 309215099, CAE 58290, 62202 and 63110. Address: Rua da Comporta 12, 2D, 8500-454 Portimão, Portugal.
1. In short
- The website stores nothing in your browser on your first visit.
- Fonts and other assets are hosted by Auxillo, so loading a page does not contact a font or script provider.
- There is no analytics script, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no social media plugin.
- Auxillo uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for something you ask for: signing in, an AMI chat you start, a payment you make or a product setting you choose.
- Stripe’s payment script loads only on payment pages, not on the rest of the site.
“Browser storage” means cookies, sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab) and localStorage (kept until you or the site removes it).
2. Every cookie and storage item
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| aux_refresh | Auxillo (.auxillo.tech) | Keeps you signed in to your Auxillo account. Set when you sign in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite Lax: scripts cannot read it and it is sent only over HTTPS. | 30 days, or until you sign out | Cookie, strictly necessary |
| aux_at | Auxillo | Holds the short-lived sign-in token of the open tab. | Until the tab is closed | sessionStorage, strictly necessary |
| ami_chat_session | Auxillo (AMI) | Connects your messages to the AMI conversation you started. Set only after you use the AMI chat. | 24 hours | Cookie, strictly necessary |
| aux_ami_session_id | Auxillo (auxillo.tech) | Lets the AMI chat on the website continue your conversation. Set only after you start an AMI chat. | Until you clear it in your browser | localStorage, strictly necessary |
| ami_page_load_ts | Auxillo (AMI) | Records when the page was opened, so the AMI chat can reject messages sent by automated scripts the instant a page loads (bot protection for the chat). Holds only a time stamp. | Until the tab is closed | sessionStorage, strictly necessary |
| Preference keys (sidebar, onboarding, Aux Tools preferences) | Auxillo | Remember interface choices you make in the Auxillo apps, such as a collapsed sidebar, onboarding progress and Aux Tools display preferences. | Until you change or clear them | localStorage, strictly necessary (functional) |
| Aux Mail drafts, outbox and offline cache | Auxillo (Aux Mail) | Keeps unsent drafts, queued messages and a working copy of your mailbox in the browser so Aux Mail works on slow or broken connections. | Until you sign out of Aux Mail, which clears it | Browser storage, strictly necessary |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during payment. Set only on payment pages. | 1 year | Cookie, strictly necessary |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during payment. Set only on payment pages. | 30 minutes | Cookie, strictly necessary |
| m | Stripe (m.stripe.com) | Fraud prevention during payment, set by Stripe’s payment script. Set only on payment pages. | Set by Stripe; see Stripe’s cookie policy | Cookie, strictly necessary |
If Cloudflare, which protects the Auxillo sites, has to show a security challenge to a request it considers suspicious, it can set its own strictly necessary cookie (cf_clearance) to remember that the challenge was passed. Ordinary visits are not challenged.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
EU and Portuguese law require consent before information is stored in or read from your device, except where the storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly asked for (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, Article 5 of Portuguese Law 41/2004). Every item in the table falls under that exception: each one is set only when you sign in, start an AMI chat, open a payment page or choose a setting, and each one exists only to make that work. Nothing is used for analytics, advertising or profiling. A consent banner would ask you to agree to something we do not do, so the site does not show one.
4. Website measurements
Auxillo sees aggregate traffic figures, such as the number of requests and the countries they come from, that Cloudflare derives on its own servers from the requests it handles for the site. No script runs in your browser for this, no cookie is set and no profile of you is built. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Cloudflare Web Analytics or any other analytics script.
5. Your controls
You can view and remove cookies and site storage in your browser settings, or block them. If you block the strictly necessary items, signing in, the AMI chat or payments will not work. Signing out removes the sign-in cookies; signing out of Aux Mail also clears its local drafts, outbox and offline cache. Clearing your browser does not delete your account or the data held on Auxillo’s servers; to delete those, use the account settings or write to [email protected].
Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Stripe’s cookie policy for their own processing. Our Privacy Policy covers Auxillo’s processing.
6. Changes
If Auxillo ever wants to use storage that is not strictly necessary, it will ask for your consent first, with a real choice to refuse, before anything is stored. This page will be updated before any such change.
